DEPARTMENT OF VASCULAR SURGERY

INTRODUCTION

Our department is the only independent organisation which complies with Level III of minimum health care provision in the Southern Transdanubian region of Hungary. Its provides vascular surgery and endovascular treatment of all arterial and venous diseases. Our outpatient unit treats 11,000-12,000 people every year. The number of our inpatient surgical operations is between 1,500 and 1,600. 

We have great expertise in the following health care areas in our inpatient and outpatient units: peripheral vascular disease, carotid diseases, surgical and endovascular treatment of aneurysms, mesenteric vascular diseases, diabetic angiopathic diseases, diabetic foot care, acute and chronic venous diseases, conservative and surgical treatment of leg ulcers and lymphatic vessel diseases.

Our clinic has 25 years of experience in human clinical trials. We performed large, multicenter domestic and international clinical trials for vascular and venous diseases.
