DEPARTMENT OF TRAUMATOLOGY AND HAND SURGERY

  

INTRODUCTION

 

The department treats musculoskeletal diseases by surgical methods mainly. The profile of the department is broad, and covers the following areas:

 

  • full trauma surgical profile

  • acute trauma care

  • reconstructive surgery

  • septic musculoskeletal surgery

  • post-traumatic pathology

  • complex orthogeriatric care

  • endoprosthetic and sports surgery

  • full spectrum of hand surgery


We perform between 4,500 and 5,000 operations a year and we are a regional centre.
