The Research Centre for Health Technology Evaluation and Pharmacoeconomics (formerly: Health Technology Evaluation Centre) was founded in November 2018. Its aim is to carry out analytical and methodological research in the fields of health technology assessment, health economics. The centre also performs research on the data assets generated in health care, and provides support for the collaboration with the the organizational units of the University of Pécs. For University.

 

The centre plays a important role in one of the university's key areas, the data-based support of medical research.

 

Health Care Data Analysis

This measures and analyses health outcomes based on real-life data (RWD), and supports the use of data in clinical trials.

 

Health Economic Analysis

This uses health technologies to support health policy decision-making (national public health financing or hospital investment), develops methodology, and carries out research in health policy.

 

Education and Cooperation

Our staff is involved in teaching at various university faculties, both at the graduate and postgraduate level. It also plays a role in translating innovative solutions resulting from research in collaboration with market players into patient care, and making them widely available in Hungary and internationally.
